By Tim Wu, Sales Manager, Cheer Pilates Equipment
Short answer: Yes, you can order a custom logo Pilates reformer as a single unit. At Cheer Pilates Equipment, logo customization is available from 1 unit, using UV printing, silk-screen printing, laser engraving or a metal logo plate, depending on the surface. Send us a vector logo file and tell us where you want it. Changes beyond branding, such as configuration, accessories or packaging design, are OEM work and start from 5 units. Deeper structural changes may need a higher quantity.
Our OEM manufacturing page covers full OEM projects: new designs, structural changes, private-label ranges. This article is about the step before that. It’s for the studio owner who wants their name on the machines, or the new distributor who wants one branded sample to show customers. Neither wants to commit to a big OEM project yet.
It’s a request we see often, and it’s easy to get right if you know a few things in advance.
What “logo from 1 unit” actually means
We can put your logo on a standard model even if you order just one machine, from an aluminum model like the CP124 to a maple model like the CP168. You don’t need to reach an OEM quantity first. The machine itself stays our standard model, with our standard specification. Only the branding changes.
That’s useful for:
- Studios that want consistent branding across their equipment
- Distributors who want a branded sample to show studios before a volume order
- Gyms and hotels that want their own name on the equipment rather than a manufacturer’s
- Brands testing a market before investing in OEM development
Custom logo Pilates reformer: branding methods and where they work
The right method depends on the surface. These are the methods listed on our OEM page.
Laser engraving
Burns or etches the logo into the surface. It’s permanent and doesn’t wear off. It works well on aluminum frames and on wood. It’s a single tone, so it suits simple logos.
UV printing
Prints the logo directly onto the surface in color. Good for detailed or multi-color logos. It’s durable, but it’s a printed layer, so place it away from areas that get rubbed by feet, hands or straps.
Silk-screen printing
A traditional print method for one or two flat colors. It’s crisp and economical for simple logos.
Metal logo plates and badges
A separate plate with your logo, fixed to the frame. It looks premium, and it’s a good option when you want the same branding across different materials.
Labels and brand plates
Custom labels, serial number plates and brand plates are also possible. Branded packaging and instruction manuals are available on request.
For a single unit, we use UV printing. If you want another method, tell us the quantity and we’ll tell you what’s possible.
Our recommendation
If your logo is simple and you want it to last, laser engraving or a metal plate is hard to beat. For a colorful logo, UV printing works, placed where nobody steps or grips. We’ll suggest a position and method once we see your file.
Where to put the logo
Common positions on a reformer:
- The side of the frame, visible from the room
- The foot end, near the footbar
- The headrest or carriage side
- The tower, for models with a tower such as the CP304
Think about the view from the door. In most studios, clients first see the reformers from the side or the foot end. That’s usually where a logo works best.
Avoid contact areas. Anything clients touch with feet or hands will wear printed logos over time.
One recent example: a studio in Slovenia ordered our CP152 wooden reformers with the studio’s name on the long side of the frame and on the end panel. Both spots are easy to see from across the room and away from where hands and feet land.

What we need from you
To get your branding right first time, send us:
- A source logo file: PSD, AI, PDF or another source file. A JPG from your website is usually too low-resolution.
- Colors: Pantone references if color matters
- Position and approximate size, or ask us to suggest one
- Method preference, if you have one
- Any brand guidelines, such as minimum size or clear space
We’ll send back a design for your approval before production.
What changes once you reach 5 units
From 5 units, we move into OEM. That opens up more than branding:
- Spring configurations and color coding
- Footbar shapes and adjustment systems
- Handle styles, rope systems, pulleys and accessories
- Upholstery color and material (custom Pantone colors, cushion thickness and firmness, contrast stitching)
- Branded packaging
Rail length and carriage width are also possible, but structural changes like these, or a brand-new design, may need a higher quantity. We’ll tell you exactly when we see the project.
Colors: frame and upholstery
Branding isn’t only a logo. Many buyers also want their brand colors.
Aluminum frames can be anodized or powder-coated, with custom RAL colors.
Wood frames come in natural maple, oak, walnut and custom stains, depending on the model.
Upholstery is available in a wide range of microfiber leather colors, with custom Pantone matching.
Minimums: a custom upholstery color is possible from 1 unit, a custom frame color from 5 units, and a logo from 1 unit.
Timelines
Branding adds a little time for artwork approval and application. Full OEM orders take longer. Adding a logo to a standard model adds about 7–15 days. OEM orders take about 20–45 days, depending on the project. Shipping time comes on top.
A practical path for new brands
If you’re building your own brand, this is the path we’d suggest:
- Order one branded sample of the model you think will sell
- Test it with real instructors and real clients for a few weeks
- Collect feedback: what do instructors like, what would they change?
- Place a first small order, still on the standard spec with your logo
- Move to OEM changes once you know what your market wants
It’s slower than ordering 50 custom machines on day one. It’s also much safer. Our OEM page says the same: many partners start with existing models and add customization as their market grows.
Mistakes that are easy to avoid
A logo that’s too small. A 3 cm logo on a 2.4 m machine disappears across a studio. Ask for a mock-up at real scale.
A low-resolution file. Logos taken from a website or social media often look blurry when printed or engraved at size.
Printing on contact areas. Printed logos wear where hands, feet and straps rub. Engraving or a plate is safer there.
Expecting a perfect color match on every surface. The same Pantone can look different on powder coat, wood stain and microfiber. Approve colors on a physical sample if it really matters to your brand.
Branding before testing. If you’re not sure the model suits your market, test it first. A branded machine that doesn’t sell is still a machine that doesn’t sell.
When small-batch branding isn’t enough
Be realistic about what a logo does. It makes the machine look like yours. It doesn’t make it different from competitors’ machines. If you want a product that stands out in your market, with different functions, a different shape or a unique configuration, you’ll need real OEM work. That’s where our OEM and ODM service comes in.
Frequently asked questions
Can I get my logo on just one Pilates reformer?
Yes. Logo customization is available from 1 unit on our standard models.
What branding methods do you offer?
UV printing, silk-screen printing, laser engraving, metal logo plates and badges, plus custom labels and brand plates. The best method depends on the surface and your logo.
What file do you need for my logo?
A vector file such as AI, EPS, PDF or SVG works best, plus Pantone colors if color accuracy matters.
What’s the difference between logo customization and OEM?
Logo customization puts your branding on our standard model, from 1 unit. OEM changes the product itself, such as springs, footbar, accessories, upholstery or packaging, and starts from 5 units. Deeper structural changes may need more.
How long does OEM production take?
As a general reference, about 20–45 days for OEM orders, depending on the project, plus shipping. Adding a logo to a standard model adds about 7–15 days.
Can I also brand the packaging?
Yes. Branded packaging and instruction manuals are available on request.
Send us your logo
Send your logo file, the model you’re interested in, and the quantity. We’ll suggest a method and position and send a quote.
Or request a custom quote, browse all products, or see the CP101A, one of our commercial aluminum reformers.
